The Reason:
The United States Navy has requested a rugged laptop for extreme environments. Not only should it be rugged and battle-ready but also sport a Dual Monitor for most of the missions.
Finally, when everything is said and done, the laptop has to meet the standard MIL-STD 810F (military standards).
I say our brave soldiers are working hard to protect our country, lets give it to them and so they shall recieve.

- Intel Core 2 Quad QX9300 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 500GB hard drive
- NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M graphics card
- Two 15.4" LED backlit displays
- Six USB 2.0 ports, VGA, Display Port, RJ-45, Audio, Firewire
The Price:
The price has not been released yet but the release date is Febuary 25th 2009.
Rest assured, the price is not cheap and if you are a civilian then you are probably paying this through our lovely taxes.
